Born and raised in the Bay Area, Margaret began her career in events at 16, working for a local Menlo Park event planner.
She holds a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and an MS from Northwestern Medill School of Journalism.
Over the past decade, Margaret has worked across Fortune 500 companies, emerging consumer brands, nonprofits, and independent creative projects, producing experiences that range from SXSW art exhibitions and international press trips across South America and APAC to founder dinners, weddings, and private celebrations at renowned venues across the country.
Having lived or worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, New Zealand, Mexico, Ecuador, India, and Hawaii, she brings a global lens to her design approach, drawing inspiration from history, printed ephemera, vintage tilework, and the subtle beauty of everyday life.
“Our honey tasting dinner last night with key players from The Detox Market and Violet Grey was a smashing success. I believe everyone fell in love with the brand and we’re very bullish on the potential for both retailers!
A MAJOR shout out to Margaret, who made this all possible and delivered an exceptional event! Everything from the location, to the flowers, to the food and wine were all incredible and received copious compliments from a tough French audience.”

“Margaret came on about a month before we decided to throw a last-minute intimate wedding celebration in the Hollywood Hills and was an incredible support on a tight timeline. She produced the event on her own, without a production team, and managed vendors across food, bar, venue, rentals, and AV. She also kept the budget clear, transparent, and on track, helping us understand real costs, tradeoffs, and what was possible.
She really understood my vision and translated it into a design that felt beautiful & celebratory, & was better than I could have imagined. Margaret brought calm, creativity, and practical guidance to the process, and I was so grateful to have her involved star to finish.”
